[00:00:13] Hello and welcome to Homicide Life On The Set, which is a brand new podcast coming soon, all about the making of the multi-Emmy Award-winning show, Homicide Life On The Street. My name
[00:00:25] is Chris Carr. I am a podcaster and filmmaker in the UK, and I'm joined with Susan Ingram who worked on Homicide. Susan, tell us a little bit about yourself. Hi, Chris. Yeah, this is Susan Ingram, and I was a camera assistant on the show
[00:00:39] from the second season until just about the end of the seventh season, and started my career. My first job was on Scarface, and my last job as a camera assistant was on Homicide Life
[00:00:52] On The Street. Back here in Baltimore, I had lived in LA and came back to Baltimore, and we're very happy to be doing this podcast because it was such a terrific show. I'm looking forward to sharing some interviews with some of the actors, and what I really want
[00:01:09] to focus on is the behind-the-scenes of the show. Hence, that's why it's called Homicide Life On The Set, and interviewing crew members as well as actors and directors about how the show was put together. Yeah. We've got some great people coming
[00:01:23] up. We have Carl Seacour, Tom Fontana, and many more, and we'll be really getting under the hood of what made homicide work on screen. And hopefully you have some great little anecdotes about what it was like working on the show.
[00:01:38] So I think it will be both educational from a filmmaking point of view, and it'll be fantastically accessible as well for fans of the show and get a real peek behind the scenes of what made this show such an enduring classic.
[00:01:51] So join us in a few weeks' time on Homicide Life On The Set.
